1. Information We Collect
We only collect what we need to answer you and deliver the work. That falls into three groups:
- Information you give us — name, email, phone, company and anything you type into a contact, newsletter or proposal form.
- Engagement data — the documents, figures and access credentials you share with us while we deliver a project.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring URL, gathered automatically as you browse.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver and support engagements, send the newsletter you asked for, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We also use aggregated, de-identified analytics to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. We do not sell your personal data — not to anyone, for any price.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on one of the following: performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in running and improving the business, your consent, or a legal obligation.
Where we rely on consent — marketing email is the usual case — you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use a small number of cookies: essential ones that make the site work, and analytics cookies that tell us how pages perform.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site, such as form submission.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We share personal data only with the processors that help us operate — hosting, email delivery, analytics and payment providers — each bound by contract to protect it.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish and defend legal claims. If our business is ever acquired, the acquirer inherits this policy along with the data.
6. Data Retention
Enquiry data is kept for 24 months from your last contact. Engagement records are kept for the duration of the contract plus seven years, to satisfy tax and audit rules.
Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. Once a retention period ends, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
7. How We Protect Your Data
Data is encrypted in transit, stored on access-controlled infrastructure, and available only to the team members who need it for their role.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant regulator within the timeframes the law sets.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete data we no longer have grounds to keep.
- Object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent and opt out of marketing at any time.
9. International Transfers
Some of our processors operate outside India. Where data crosses a border, we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard recognised by the receiving jurisdiction.
You can ask us which safeguard applies to a specific transfer and we will tell you.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are aimed at businesses and are not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
